Years and years ago I read a novel featuring the Alhambra and have wished to visit ever since. Paula's descriptions were nearly as wonderful as being there, imagination notwithstanding! Ana/Monte and Nina are lovely, strong heroines separated by centuries but with similar quests to understand and protect the Luna Legacy. Both women nearly lose their lives and feel betrayed but soldier on and are rewarded with a knowledge of themselves and riches beyond counting.
